Acceptable stay , some noise issues

The hotel is very well appointed. The interiors were done well and the rooms are nice and spacious. The staff was very cute ,AND friendly too. The location is also close to the train station.
My wife and I stayed one saturday night. We could not believe the noise levels from outside. We were given ear plugs from a large jar in reception ,which wasn't ideal. I don't know if our room was beneath any stairs , BUT it seemed like stomping from above all night.

the room was well-equipped and met my expectations.
I found a few issues needing attention. the promised complimentary breakfast smoothie was missing. a single pair of socks was provided, instead of a pair for each of us. Quite strange.

The building has mood and character. i really liked the quality teas and snacks in the room, a thoughtful touch. i received a generous upgrade. The split-level apartment was lush. the location is also perfect.
i noticed a small detail, a pair of socks was provided in the room, and i was surprised, as there were two guests staying.

homely room extra lamps available sweets
i found the room very homely and it had a kitchen. the extra lamps and books were a nice touch. i also appreciated the availability of washing powder and dishwashing items. sweets, drinks, milk, and coffee was available in my room, very grateful.
i did have a small issue. there was no reply about anything they could upgrade or offer for him to buy for the room on arrival.

The rooms were really good! the bed was amazing!!! i really appreciate the minibar. It was stocked so well after my journey. the staff were helpful and responsive.
i stayed for several nights and felt a little let down. there was no reply about a possible upgrade or something special to buy for the room on arrival.
